Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Hamster AI (“Service”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Hamster AI is an AI-powered resume tailoring and cover letter generation service. We use your uploaded resume and job descriptions to produce tailored application documents using large language models (Anthropic Claude).

• You must sign in via an OAuth provider (Google, Apple, or LinkedIn). You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• One account per person. Do not share your account credentials.

• Free plan: 1 tailored application at no cost.
• Starter Pack: $7 one-time payment for 3 applications.
• Monthly plan: $16/month, billed monthly, unlimited applications.
• Annual plan: $144/year ($12/month), unlimited applications.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the Account page. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate fraudulent or misleading application materials.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service's APIs.
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes third-party rights.
• Circumvent usage limits or access controls (e.g. creating multiple free accounts).

You retain all ownership of the content you upload (resumes, job descriptions). By using the Service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely to deliver the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content (e.g. do not upload another person's resume without their consent).

Documents produced by the Service are AI-generated. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific circumstances. You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated documents before submitting them to employers.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Hamster AI and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in job offers or interviews.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hamster AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, without prejudice to your statutory rights under local law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
